Day 1: Cradle mountain active day tour

departs launceston 7.30am, returns launceston 6.00pm
(overnight launceston: accommodation by own arrangement)

See Tasmania’s alpine heart and World Heritage Listed Cradle Mountain. Walk the stunning Dove Lake Circuit or tackle Marion’s Lookout. Wander Sheffield’s outdoor art gallery and reward yourself with handmade Tasmanian gelato at Van Diemens Land Ice Creamery.



-  Explore Cradle Mountain National Park (4-5 hours)
-  Stand on the shore of the spectacular setting of Dove Lake
-  Enjoy an easy, guided introductory walk to Pencil Pine Falls
-  Take on the Dove Lake Circuit walk (Easy, 6km’s, 2-3 hours)
-  Or, take on the harder walk to Marion’s Lookout (medium, 3 hours)
-  Explore the historic Weindorfers Chalet
-  Visit Sheffield the ‘Town of Murals’ an outdoor art gallery

Day 2: Launceston to Hobart via Wineglass Bay Active Day Tour
Departs Launceston 7.30am, Returns Hobart 6.00pm (bring your bags today!)
Overnight: Hobart (accommodation by own arrangement)

Travel from Launceston to Hobart via the sparkling East Coast. Visit one of the world’s Top 10 most beautiful beaches, Wineglass Bay. Relax in a hilltop vineyard overlooking Freycinet National Park.

 Explore Freycinet National Park
 Walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout
 Optional: extend your walk to Wineglass Bay Beach
 Visit beautiful Honeymoon Bay
 Take in the spectacular views on the Cape Tourville Lighthouse Walk
 Visit historic Campbell Town and the Convict Brick Trail.
 Visit Devils Corner Winery - seafood, wine, pizza, ice-cream


Day 3: Port Arthur & Tasmanian Devils

Port Arthur & Tasmanian Devils
Departs Hobart at 7.30am, Returns Hobart 6.00pm
Finishes in Hobart (drop off back to your hotel)

Take a jaw-dropping walk along Australia’s highest sea cliffs on the Tasman Peninsula. Discover the dark history of Port Arthur Historic Site. Get up close and personal with Tassie Devils at the Unzoo. Walk over Australia’s oldest bridge in Richmond.
